- 09/11/00: Hey, look at that! It's been almost a year since the last time anything was put on this frikkin' page! What a bunch on lazy bums those webmasters are! Anyway, since the last entry, we decided to effectively "scrap" the original CD and reproduce it with some new material. All the fruits of our labors may be heard on our tunes page, or at our IUMA homepage, or find us under the artists section at Garageband.com or download the Napster program at Napster.com and search for us. Yep... we're everywhere now! In fact, in the very near future, we'll hopefully be launching our new CD entitled Rock Solid with the help of Taxi.com!
- 09/21/99: Ok, ok, I know it's like the boy who cried wolf. We've had numerous glitches in the production of this puppy, but it looks like we finally have a remastered and massaged copy of the CD we can use for production. It will be going to the presses soon... in time for the release party. Thanks go to Jason Webb at Fog City Productions for the work he put into the remastering and tweaking of sonic enhancements!
- 08/17/99: Slight glitch in the production... only got 20 good copies. We are presently seeking correction to this, and a goodly quantity should be available by the CD Release Party!
- 07/20/99: Hmmm... been a while since the last update! OK, here it is... we got the alternate mixdown, and the CD is currently in production. We should have copies ready for the show this Saturday at the Mural. These will be collectors items in the future, so come on down and get one! Cost is $10.
- 06/27/99: OK, so we decided against the CD release party since we don't have a CD yet to release. On the other hand, we have been able to press a few and circulate them to score some gigs. Check out our upcoming shows.
- 06/05/99: We have located a party to do the mixdown, and they are presently searching for the appropriate equipment they need to make it happen.
- 05/16/99: After much deliberation and discussion, we have decided to bring the original tapes to another studio for an alternate mixdown. This will delay the release a bit, but we are still planning on having a party in June regardless!
- 05/09/99: We received a single copy of the master CD and took a listen.
- 05/02/99: We got a rough CD copy of the mixdowns for review... it was most acceptable! We are looking at Friday 5/7/99 for the CD master and will be off to the production piece after that. Production literature is underway...
- 04/28/99: Guess what we did tonight???? Yep - MORE MIXDOWN!!! Getting dangerously close to a pre-production CD review. Sorry - ya'll have to wait until the production copy is released! Should we have a CD release party? Tell us what you think at ch@criticalheat.com
- 04/26/99: Mixdown, mixdown, mixdown!!!!
- 04/25/99: Mixdown continues... 3 more songs mixed to DAT, and a sample cassette for review produced (sorry - no copies available... you'll have to wait for the real thing!

- 04/21/99: Preliminary cover designs for the CD can be seen here .
- 04/19/99: Background vocals are on tape. Pre-mix underway with the first mixdown session scheduled for 4/23.
- 04/14/99: Lead vocals are down and dirty! Backing vocals are next ...
- 04/12/99: 2 more hours produced all instrumental content ... on to vocals!
- 04/11/99: Another 9 hours later we have basics down for 12 tunes - next stop are lead vocals and lead guitar!
- 04/10/99: After about 10 hours in the studio, we had basics and some leads down for 6 tunes!
- 04/04/99: April 10 is the start date! We will be hitting a studio in Des Moines (code named "Studio C") and ripping it up!
